Update for October 15, 2009

The project is now working under the “winter” road opening/closure schedule. Be aware of the “winter” road opening/closure times so it does not interfere with your travel plans. Check out the Travel Info section on the website for the full monthly schedule(s).

For the week of October 19th to October 23rd the Contractor will be working days. They will continue backfilling at Wall 10. At Wall 11 minor finish work with backfilling starting early in the week. At Wall 3; clean-up and preparation for finishing. Various other small project related tasks may be accomplished time permitting.

There is no work planned for Friday, October 23rd. Road open to the public starting Thursday the 22nd at 6:00pm.

There is no night work planned for this week.

For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs and temporary traffic signals placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
