Update for October 8, 2009
The project is now working under the “winter” road opening/closure schedule. Be aware of the “winter” road opening/closure times so it does not interfere with your travel plans. Check out the Travel Info section on the website for the full monthly schedule(s).
For the week of October 12th to October 16th the Contractor will be working days. They will continue finishing work at Walls 10 and 11 with backfilling starting early in the week. At Wall 3, concrete forms will be set for the last section and a concrete pour is scheduled. Various other small project related tasks may be accomplished time permitting.
There is no work planned for Friday, October 16th. Road open to the public starting Thursday the 15th at 6:00pm.
There is no night work planned for this week.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs and temporary traffic signals placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
