Update for May 8, 2009
For the week May 11th through May 15th, the Contractor plans on drilling and installing micro-piles @ Wall 10, starting forming, installing rebar and first concrete pour in the footing @ Wall 10, possible culvert installation(s), catch basins, and/or installing utility vaults as time permits.
There will be no night work this week. The roadway will be open to the public 6:00pm to 8:00am.
There is no work on Friday, May 15th and the road will be open to the public.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.

This will be the last week of the “winter” road opening/closure schedule. Starting Monday, May 18th the “summer” road opening/closure schedule begins and goes through September 11th. Check out the Travel Info section on the website for the full monthly schedule(s).
