Update for April 24, 2009
For the week April 27th through May 1st, the Contractor plans on excavating and starting to install temporary shoring @ Wall 11, drilling and installing micro-piles @ Wall 10, and possible culvert installation(s) and/or installing utility vaults as time permits.
There will be no night work this week. The roadway will be open to the public 6:00pm to 8:00am.
There is no work on Friday, May 1st and the road will be open to the public.
The 61st Annual Riggins Rodeo is here!! The road will beopen to trafficwithno delays between Thursday (April 30th) evening at 6:00pm and until Monday (May 4th) morning at 8:00am. Please use extreme caution when traveling through the project area.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
