Update for March 6, 2009
Note: schedule changes starting March 9th
Starting March 9th the daily road opening/closure schedule changes for the ongoing road construction. For the detailed schedule for March, click on the ‘March 2009 Schedule’ in the orange TRAVEL INFO section above.
NOTE: The roadway will be open to the public all day on Friday, March 13th.
For the week, Monday, March 9th through Thursday, March 12th, the Contractor plans on continuing operations wall excavation, wall construction, and drilling of soil nails for the shoring for wall construction) in one, two or three of the wall areas. Please be advised that the roadway is under the winter roadway opening/closure schedule for this week.
There will be no night work this week.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
