Update for December 12, 2008
* NOTICE *
The road-opening/road closure schedule for the Salmon River Road construction project is on Tuesdays 1:00pm to 2:00pm and Thursdays 1:00pm to 2:00pm. This will continue up to the 2009 summer schedule (mid-May).
From Thursday, December 18th at 5:00pm through Monday, January 5, 2009 at 8:00am, the road will be open to the public. There are no planned construction activities during this period.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
Here is a glance at the week of December 15th to December 19th showing the Tuesday – Thursday mid-day road opening/closure times and the Friday road opening time

There will be no night “Road Closures” the week of Monday, December 15th through Thursday, December 18th. The road will be open from 5:00pm to 8:00am.
