Update for November 14, 2008
For the week of November 10th through November 14th the Contractor’s focus was on drilling, blasting, culvert installations, rip rap placement, and working on improvements to the waste site.
During the day for the week of November 17th through November 21st the Contractor will continue to work on placing rip rap, drilling/grouting temporary shoring anchors at Wall #10, temporary shoring anchor testing at Wall #10, and continued drilling along with small blasting operations to continue generating rip rap.
The Contractor will be working nights (Monday through Thursday) for the week of November 17th through November 21st.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
* Note that the Friday road opening is at 3:00pm this week *
