Update for September 19, 2008
For the week of September 15th the Contractor’s main focus was on the “in-water” work which consisted of removing the sandbags from the 4+835 to 5+008 location and continuing to place rip rap at two separate locations; 4+835 to 5+008 and 7+870 to 7+920.
For the week of September 22nd the Contractor will continue to focus on generating and placing rip rap at the two locations during the day operation. Also the Contractor will be working on some shoulder stabilization and possibly installing a culvert or two during the day shift. There will be a drilling operation going on at night starting Monday, the 22nd, through Thursday night at 4+820 to generate additional quantities of rip rap.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, raft, or just to enjoy, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
