Update for September 12, 2008

For the week of September 8th the Contractor’s main focus was on the “in-water” work that consisted of placing rip rap at two separate locations, 4+835 to 5+008 and 7+870 to 7+920.

For the week of September 15th the Contractor will continue to focus on placing rip rap at the two locations during the day operation.  The Contractor will also be starting a night operation on Sunday, September 14th to begin the rock “cut” work at 4+820 to generate additional quantities of rip rap.

For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, raft, or just to enjoy, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
