Update for May 23, 2008
The project will be going into the second week of the “summer schedule”. Debco and Federal Highway employees have been transitioning from day work to night work and it has gone smoothly and the work is progressing.
Over the past week the weather turned from beautiful 90° weather to cool and rainy. Let’s hope for a quick return to those clear warm days and nights not only for the road construction, but also for those fishermen, rafters, and campers.
The road will be open for Memorial Day weekend from Friday, May 23rd at 6:00am through Tuesday, May 27 at 4:00pm. Please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs placed for the public’s safety.
Here is the summer schedule at a glance:
| Time | Delay |
| 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. | 2-hour delays |
| 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. | open road |
| 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. | 30-minute delays |
