Update for January 25, 2008

Due to weather conditions, Debco Construction will not work the night shift the week of January 28.  The road will be open to traffic, with no delays, after 6 p.m. each night.

I’m still getting feedback on the summer schedule.  The proposed schedule looks like this, but there are still issues to work through . . . timing of 30-minute delays, length of delays, start time for 2-hour delays, etc.  I appreciate your patience.  It’s been a struggle balancing both construction and road user needs.  However, I’m confident the final schedule will be tolerable for residents and tourists without impacting the project duration. 

Midnight to 6 am

2-hour delays

6 am to 4 pm

Open road with no delays

4 pm to 8 pm

30-minute delays
(e.g. if it normally takes 15 minutes to go from the mill site to Lake Creek, with 30-minute delays it might take up to 45 minutes)

8 pm to midnight

2-hour delays
